The inner gantry is a frame structure in which two trough-shaped types are welded as a column and a girders. The gantry is tilted forward for loading and unloading. The purpose of the backward tilting is to prevent the cargo on the fork from slipping when the forklift is running.

One end of the lifting chain is coupled with the lower part of the outer door frame, and the other end is connected to the fork frame by the sprocket. When the hydraulic oil is introduced into the hydraulic cylinder, the piston rod moves upward at the speed v and drives the sprocket and the inner gantry to the same. The speed v rises, and due to the principle of the moving pulley, the chain pulls the fork to lift at a speed of 2v. When the hydraulic cylinder is fully stroked, the inner mast is at the extreme position above the outer mast, and the fork is at the extreme position above the inner mast. When the oil pressure is released, the components such as the cargo or the fork are lowered by their own gravity.
