How to solve the oil leakage when the forklift gear pump works-SAFERLIFTS MACHINERY

How to solve the oil leakage when the forklift gear pump works?

Pump leakage causes a large amount of hydraulic energy to become heat, which causes the oil temperature to rise and the working conditions to deteriorate. The oil leakage of the gear pump can be divided into two types: internal leakage and external leakage. The internal leakage reduces the output flow of the pump and the pressure rise is not high. However, the external leakage not only pollutes the environment but also reduces the internal leakage. External leakage. The method of reducing the internal leakage is to appropriately adjust the movement gap of the pump, the gap is too large, and the internal leakage increases; the gap is too small and the friction increases. Causes of leakage:

    1) The oil return hole on the front and rear pump cover is blocked, or the hole is not drilled through during machining. This requires cleaning or drilling.

    2) The pump cover and the sealing ring are too loose to form an oil leakage, which can be solved by adjusting the clearance.

    3) The shaft seal lip is scratched by the spindle keyway or the skeleton spring is detached. This can be replaced with an oil seal or reinstalled.

    4) The sealing surface of the part is seriously scratched. Re-test the sealing surface to eliminate scratches.

    5) The inner diameter of the oil seal groove is too small or the groove chamfer is too small, which causes the oil package to be inclined, resulting in oil leakage. The groove size should be checked and the groove or chamfered as required.

    6) The shaft chamfer is too rough or the chamfer is too small, so that the seal lip is rolled, and the roughness or chamfer should be checked. When assembling, grease should be applied to the chamfer.

    7) Seals should be replaced if they are used at high temperatures for a long time, or if the seals are not good, or if they are improperly assembled and lose their elasticity, they will leak.

When installing, the pump body is reversed, so that the oil outlet is connected to the unloading groove. Or in the trial turn, turn to the wrong, the oil seal on the shaft is broken down and cause leakage. This is because the inlet of the pump is connected to the oil seal through the oil return passage. When the pump reverses, the oil inlet becomes an oil drain, the pressure oil breaks through the oil seal through the oil return passage, or the oil seal is flushed out of the pump body to form an external leak. This should correct the pump's steering and replace it with a new one.
